Karmas Life is a nonprofit foundation that provides life-changing prosthetics to individuals in need. The organization also supports its mission through the sales of a novel titled 'Karma,' written by its founder. All profits from the book go directly to funding prosthetics for those who need them most.
The project began with the goal of giving Karmas Life a strong and clear online presence. The foundation needed a digital platform that would allow people to discover its mission, learn about the impactful work it does, and easily understand how to get involved—whether by donating, requesting assistance, or supporting through the purchase of the novel 'Karma.' The challenge was to present all this information in a way that felt human, inspiring, and accessible.
To better understand the emotional and functional needs of the audience, we researched the recovery and adaptation process of people who receive prosthetic limbs. We also explored the most common reasons people seek support from nonprofit organizations, and how storytelling can build trust. By studying the founder's personal commitment and how the foundation operates, we created a structure that reflects both the compassion and impact behind Karmas Life.
The result was a fully functional, informative platform that not only tells powerful stories but also drives real support. Visitors can explore the foundation’s origin, read about the people it helps, donate directly through the site, request assistance, or support the mission by buying the Karma novel. Since launch, the site has helped the foundation gain visibility—especially among companies and donors—while also positioning it as a trusted source of hope for those in need of prosthetics.
“The new website helped us reach more people and clearly communicate our mission. We've seen an increase in donation interest and more awareness around the impact we’re making. — Karmas Life Team”
